It’s a male-threaded type, and we don’t have the puller in stock. We’ll arrange one since we’ll need it in the future.

I love Honda. The variety of basic special tools and their pricing strike the best balance, I think.

They’re much more affordable than Suzuki’s, and we’re grateful for that.

The generator didn’t come off easily, but we removed it carefully without forcing it, taking our time.

We gently polished the impact marks and reused it.

The spring has gotten quite short.

It’s a rough measurement, but the numbers are pretty significant.

It looks like the hole diameter has changed. We assembled it and we’re done.

Now we move on to wheel bearing replacement.

A 15 mm bearing on a 19-inch wheel with this bike’s weight is tough. There was plenty of oil in there.

The rear has a shield, so we peeled it off since we’re discarding it. The benefits of the shield are definitely high.

We could tell from the grease color and remaining amount that it helps with these things. The grease quantity appears to be calibrated to account for bearing movement.

We also replaced the hub damper, and it looks much cleaner now.
There’s a bit more work to go.
