Before I know it, we’re already mid-September. To be honest, it’s so hot that I’m feeling summer fatigue. I don’t feel like riding my bike at all.
We’re gradually accepting crowdfunding return services. This time it’s that service plus requests for tire and consumables replacement. After relocating to Chiba, the volume of requests per person has been increasing . As expected and within my projections, we’ve been able to implement a very comfortable business reform.
So we’re pushing forward with work at full speed.

Previously I had somewhat compiled tire weight and size information, but I didn’t manage to complete it thoroughly and my memory and information are fragmented.
Since I’ve relocated to such a wonderful environment, I’d like to organize this information into pages as well. Knowing tire weight is also important.
Ah, the weight increased so that’s why the handling changed like this? The weight decreased so it became more agile? I think the appreciation deepens with just one tire replacement.
When replacing tires, it’s good to double-check the air valve as well. Since the seal is rubber, it’s surprisingly easy for torque to loosen.
Making a pipe that fits snugly and securing it makes the work easier.
What I really want to know is the actual measured values. We need to keep track of this kind of data too.
Because it’s tubeless, the sealing surface needs to be smooth
There was a spot that squeaked for about half a rotation, so I smoothed it out. Since modern tires with stiffer casings are increasing, gentleness is important during installation.
Once it’s mounted, there’s no way to check the inside of the wheel, so I make sure there are no surprises at the next tire replacement.

No risk, no damage Tower Records? When removing the wheel, I work with a wheel cover on. Just wrapping this wheel cover makes me feel so much better.
The inside of the wheel recently became hyper resin coated. If you keep the inside shiny too, the next replacement should be easier. Our shop doesn’t serve an unspecified number of customers, which is why we can do this.
This Reborn wet blasting not only has power but also an incredible shine. This level of shine is something you can’t achieve easily .
Plus, the processing time is incredibly short, which is another benefit. It’s not ideal, but it can easily remove slightly damaged paint, so it’s powerful.

The rear pads are low, so I’ll replace them. Recently, RK’s brake pad lineup has been dropping quite noticeably. As an alternative, I’m using Daytona Golden Pads.
This time’s secret is front fork overhaul and bottom case polishing
Everything else is shiny, but I can’t help noticing the deterioration of the bottom case. If you have wet blasting, you can polish it every time you do a fork overhaul and keep it always fresh!
I actually prefer wet blasting on bare metal rather than painting.
It finishes with a silver-painted appearance and feels really good. It’s hard to believe it’s the same part—it really anti-ages.
The speed and finish are worlds apart from the previous wet blasting. The previous wet blasting probably couldn’t achieve this finish.
So the secret work progresses pretty much on a whim, so we’re waiting for parts. Maintenance naturally restores function, but when appearance improves at the same time, it feels even better.
