If you notice oil leaking from around the sprocket cover, suspect the shift oil seal. (It happens pretty often.)
It’s a common symptom, or rather, since it’s an oil seal, it’s not something that lasts forever. Seals wear out with use, and leaking is inevitable.
With the right tools, it comes off in a snap.
Insert the oil seal parallel to avoid damaging the lip. Since it’s a rubber-to-metal press fit, it will go in by hand, so take it slow and gentle.
The throttle has some oil content but runs a bit thick. Engine oil should do the job fine. There are some good spots for lubricating the cable too, but I’ll keep it simple here.
Both the brake and clutch lock nuts have come loose. I’ve installed new lock nuts, but it’s definitely risky, so please be careful.
