You could use a throttle kit, but I don’t use them much★
• Buying a kit increases cost
• The OW-style switch wiring is a pain
• Wire length and other options expand,
but most carburettor-side angles are straight
You can choose wire length and throttle spool diameter,
so there are those benefits too.
 

 
There’s definitely a difference in lightness depending on whether there’s a fitting where the wire bends.
I’d like to just fire up the engine today…
