There’s a lot of tedious input, but please do your best to fill it in. In “Reason for Relocation/Modification,” there’s an option for “Utility pole (bird droppings countermeasures)” – please select that.
Once you’ve filled in everything, Tokyo Electric will call you. After that, there will be an on-site inspection and consultation scheduling → actual construction (work).
In my case, construction hasn’t started yet, but as of 7/30 (inspection), since work spans the Obon holiday, it will be mid-August or later. If you want to reduce bird droppings under the utility pole even a little, it’s free so I think it’s worth trying once.
