We’ve been pretty hectic with the move and relocation. To transport cargo, you have to put it in boxes and store it. When you organize things properly in boxes, efficiency skyrockets.
Deciding on a home for each item—its fixed location—is really important. Since we usually don’t set these up, things end up scattered all over and you spend more time searching. By storing things in nice, stylish boxes, your motivation goes up too, and organizing itself becomes fun.
Golden Week—not going anywhere, maybe I should tidy up? If you’re thinking that way, cleaning and organizing at this timing is actually pretty interesting.

I was searching for a folding container on Amazon and found this stylish one. Bibendum in a vintage design is really nice too.

Plus there’s a sibling 20 L size, and you can stack two of them on top . This kind of thoughtful design is really appreciated.
Having the same design with different sizes is a major selling point for me. The downside is “the price is a bit steep” . But for occasional use, I think it looks cool.
It’s funny how just a plain folding container becomes “stylish with just a little design added” . I’m not sure if Subaru genuine is really true, but… it’s a folding container that somehow looks really sharp. I was surprised to see something like this being sold so conveniently.
There’s one caveat though: “the material is plastic” according to the listing. I’m not entirely sure what that means, but with plastic I get the impression of “being susceptible to chemical solvents” and “cracking easily.” For this type of case, choosing “polypropylene” is the safe bet.
This Subaru folding container also “can mount two S sizes” . This kind of consideration is really helpful.
With this type of storage case, “bigger doesn’t always fit smaller” so be careful.
When you get particular about storage, “organizing becomes fun”
It’s about time everyone stopped just accumulating stuff and “declutter” .
The more storage space you have, the more you tend to accumulate —it’s just human nature. But even so, if you “organize and tidy up,” things look cleaner and you spend less time searching for stuff.
But honestly, organizing is hard. It’s actually an eternal challenge , but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve figured out the method.

I think motorcycle riders would really get into this. Generally, they tend to be detail-oriented people. But without a set organizing method, you’ve probably just been stacking things haphazardly. Once you define the system once, you just keep going from there.
Setting aside the folding containers for now, next time I’ll introduce my go-to box collection. A system where a box you buy once can be used over and over —isn’t that convenient? Just deciding on a standard box makes organizing so much easier, you’ll be amazed.
