The oil-cooled engine is fantastic for serviceability.
It popped open and was nice and clean. With this new FCC kit, the sleeve hub assembly and all the plates get replaced wholesale. Basically, you don’t even need to remove the plates.
Soak them in fresh engine oil. Once they’re thoroughly saturated, it might just be a placebo, but after a long time off the bike, putting it in low and stalling out! seems to happen less.
Tighten firmly to 150 Nm and stake it.
Watching how much pressure you’re applying is useful reference too.
