We’re replacing the fork and swingarm with black ones.
Starting with the front. It’s just a matter of removing and swapping them in.
Since it’s in good condition, we’re being careful and taking our time.
Now moving to the rear.
Since it’s in good condition, we’re cleaning and lubricating it for reuse.
Neutech NC100 grease.

We polished it clean.
It turned jet black.
It looks great when it’s clean. The rear suspension (STD) was really dirty, so we installed it upside down front to back.
The customer said the exhaust is loud, so we’re making a baffle to make it somewhat quieter.
We punched out a round plate, then punched it again with a burring tool. We cut perforated sheet metal, rolled it with a three-roll machine to make a perforated pipe.
Welding the perforated metal is scary because it melts so easily…
So we made it sandwich-style. It seems a bit quieter now.
After a test ride, it’ll be complete.
