For now I’m just bringing things in and imagining the layout (*´ω｀*) I actually bought a new desk, but… the delivery date is July or later, so I’m making do for now.
The complete move is 5/27 (Tuesday), a lucky day. I’ll be heading to Chiba starting that day. Once I’m settled in over there, I’ll finally be able to relax a little. The factory cleanup will progress even more. I’m really glad it’s before the rainy season sets in. I’m living each day just wanting to catch my breath.

I basically store everything in boxes. The location of each item is clearly defined. About 80% got done in a flash, but… surprisingly“miscellaneous items”keep coming up. I also need to prepare cardboard boxes to put those miscellaneous items in.
I’m glad I got the maximum number of cardboard boxes from the moving company. *By the way,moving boxes are pretty sturdyso it’s good to reuse them for storage.
It’s so helpful that cars fit easily inside the factory (*´ω｀*)
I made it a point to move things in on rainy days. After all,the roads are especially clear. I could easily make two round trips a day (*´ω｀*)
This folding door I chose was the right call! It’s a bit too see-through, so I’m going to put a film on it.
I realize that without shelves, things won’t get organized
By the way, it’s faster to buy from Monotaro…. Royal’s e-commerce site is hard to navigate and difficult to use.
Since I’m installing this channel on all the walls, I can attach shelves freely. The load capacity changes depending on the support leg length and “what it’s supporting,” so be careful. Generally figure about 15–20 kg per shelf.
I have a lot of the wood I used to use, so“I’ll cut and reassemble it” I need to buy a Makita circular saw…
I love Kanae Sangyo—they’re transporting the machinery for me
They move tons of stuff effortlessly, one after another. I really see the difference when pros know what they’re doing.
I had them transport things three times (*´ω｀*) It took up more space than I thought—things that can’t be stacked, light but bulky items, that sort of thing. Well, amazing! I was impressed by their incredible skill!
I’m parking Ito’s truck here, so mine goes to a 100-yen parking lot… The morning parking battle is intense…
If I lose, it’s a 2,600-yen fine…ugh. That’s Tokyo for you.
For now I’ve just arranged things roughly.
At first I thought I’d do an“island”layout, but I couldn’t come up with anything, so I’m going to try“safe wall-side”placement and think about the layout from there!

I ended up with an odd number of seven bikes. I got them all transported quickly before the rain came.

Day by day the stuff decreases, but it’s a long, quiet battle
As of today, 5/24 (Saturday), it’s even less. There’s no kitchen or desk, and only four fluorescent lights, so it looks pretty bare.
But this place really is spacious!
Looking at it this way, the Chiba factory seems smaller. First I need to make the floor visible—nothing can start until then….
Almost there ( ；∀；) I have no sentimental feelings about the Tokyo shop. I just want to get out of this environment as fast as possible. “Ah, finally I’ll be free~”Just a few more days! Hang in there!
