Really? An RG500Γ with KR500 flavor! Selecting requested work items within budget and getting the job done

I really love parts from Kitaco and Daytona.
When you look closely, you discover all sorts of things.
I often feel there are many products that could sell way better if they just changed their names a bit.

I really love these aluminum minus bolts and use them all the time.

Sizes come in M5 and M6, and both have a 15mm length under the head.
Colors come in three types: silver, gold, and black—it’s great to have options.

By the way, a similar part exists in Suzuki’s genuine parts lineup.
It’s a nice part used on racers like the RM.
If you buy it from Suzuki, it costs around 1,400 yen…
But if you buy it from Kitaco, it’s about one-third the price, so you can stock up without worry.

They look pretty cool, so try using them in all sorts of ways! (*´ω｀*)
I often use them to secure license plates.

When using on cowls and such, I think it’s good to sandwich a POM washer in between.
When installing bolts, try not to use rubber washers if you can help it.

The tightening becomes vague, and they loosen up really easily.

【Highsider: Highsider】 Proton TWO is acting up

The right side just feels really weird.
Even when I swap the right and left wiring, the same side still acts up.

It’s like it glows dimly, and when I turn on the position light or headlight, it works well sometimes and badly other times.
And this is brand new…
I worried that maybe my wiring was wrong, but “there are only four wires, so there’s no way to get it wrong.”

Plus, I already modified the connector, so I can’t return it anyway…
Anyway, when I ordered a new one, it worked normally, so I was relieved.
What’s strange is that “it worked fine at first.”
Well, I just drew a dud. Can’t be helped (；∀；)

While I’m at it, I’m swapping the grips to Yoshimura

The Yoshimura grip rubber is really excellent in its solid, robust quality.
The design and feel are very good! And the price is reasonable.
They come in 115mm and 120mm, so pick the one that fits your bike.
Give them a try.

For now, I replaced just the left side.
The right throttle sleeve is about 40mm in diameter.

Throttle sleeves come in ribbed versions, so be careful about that.
This time I’m doing a swap to make it work.

That’s how I’m chipping away at it bit by bit in between.
