I think it was from something like a CB1300SF or thereabouts. CB1100 SC65 and similar would work too.
The beam axis adjustment method is proper, so let’s do something about it…

What’s good about a plastic case is…
it’s light, and even if a wire gets pinched, you’re safe. Maybe this is how electrical components, including switches, gradually became plastic.
Slot holes are surprisingly tedious, so I used the dream spot cutter to remove the spot welds and pull it out.
Since it’s my own bike, I’ll try combining it with a Megamix merge.
I’ll fix the beam axis bracket and perform beam axis adjustment.
While I’m at it, I’ll swap in the NOVSIGHT H4 hi/lo that everyone loves.
Back in the day, this would have been pretty impressive brightness… but lately, I feel like this level is normal? Or maybe even on the low side? 33,000 CD
