Recent hobby: “Touring on a customer’s bike?” Bad luck stories—can’t get into the shops I visit.

Since it’s rural (surrounded by nature), there are few traffic lights and cars.
Checking the map at the next light is literally impossible—it’s faster to just stop.

Anyway, I’ve already ridden about 50 miles today (on local roads).
My sense of distance and time is completely different from when I was in Tokyo.
At 12–20 miles, you can just zip right over, so it’s a wonderful environment for motorcycle riders.

Basically, I’m “okay to eat out on Fridays.” That’s my rule.
It’s not that something’s wrong with me; “eating out every day is tough.” It really does wear you out.
Both in taste and spirit. I want to eat slowly and savor it.
So I headed out on the GSX-R1100J (*´ω`*)

I saw it on Instagram, so I tried it right away!

Yakitori Stand Jun
〒290-0557 Chiba Prefecture, Ichihara City, Yoro 962-1

Lunch usually ends at 2 p.m. I arrived at 1:30 p.m.
I couldn’t find a parking spot, so I just left the bike out front and got ready to go in!
Whoosh—

“Oh, we’re already closed for today…”

Seriously?

Oh no… recovering from this time slot is tough…
A dam curry? Hmm… that place was open earlier, so maybe I’ll go there…

Today happens to be Friday. Horse mackerel fry specialist FLYDAY

I’ve been there once before, so I know what to expect.
I would have preferred to scout a new place, but that’s not happening today ( ;∀;)

I went with the two-item platter today. Prices vary, so check the monitor when you visit.

As always, it’s crispy and fluffy—delicious.
The plain horse mackerel fry set is the safest bet.

The shop is located at a higher elevation.
There’s a steep slope to climb, so don’t tip over.

On the way back, I stopped by the legendary 3 Way Cafe

I’m always hunting for new places.
Every place has reliable parking, so it’s easy to hop on the bike and explore—that’s Chiba’s advantage, I guess?

In Tokyo, you risk getting a parking ticket, so shop hopping is pretty much impossible.

Between this Suzuki dealership, on private property to the left.
You can’t see it from the street, and you don’t know if you’re allowed in…
I wandered around here and there.

The garage-style vibe reminds me of Shimokitazawa or Koenji—really cool space. I love that all the coffee is hand-dripped (*´ω`*)

3 Way Cafe

That’s how I’m enjoying test rides too (*´ω`*)
I take tons of photos, but once I’m back at the shop, there’s so much to do that updates get delayed.

Plus, memories fade with time, which doesn’t help.
I wish I could output my mental data more efficiently.
Anyway… thanks for your patience.

Oh, I upgraded to a Kalita Nice Cut Mill…
That cheap Chinese hand grinder really was the worst… Pokidam.
