For the plug gap, I think it’s better not to push hard into the gap to avoid damaging the center electrode. I try to avoid putting stress on each part with the spirit of “Love saves the Earth.” Only #3 looks a bit sooty.

Recalling the past rainy day single-cylinder disease (my own GS1000S)
My GS 1000S initially had a disease where it would always run on one cylinder when riding in the rain.
When I made a plate like the one in the image, lo and behold, that disease was completely cured! There’s a lot of wiring on top of this plate so there’s also a preventive aspect to avoid heat damage.
