分解時の状態: 長年熟成（？）されたフォークオイルはヘドロ状の漆黒色に変化し、特有の強烈な異臭を発している状態。ダンピングが機能せず、内部摩耗が進む危険信号。

整備のキモ: インナーチューブの歪み（曲がり）を定盤＆ダイヤルゲージでチェック。ボトムケース内部のアルミ粉・スラッジを完全洗浄し、新品スライドメタルとオイルシールを組み込んで規定油面でバチッと調律！

Topic: Full front fork overhaul & flushing out severely degraded “jet-black” fork oil. Details: Happy Wednesday night from the decoboco tech bay! For part three of our Z1000LTD series, we tackled the front suspension. Draining the front forks revealed pitch-black, sludgy fork oil emitting a sharp, foul odor—a clear sign of severe oil breakdown and long-overdue maintenance. We completely disassembled the forks, flushed out internal aluminum sludge, and checked the inner tubes for runout using a dial gauge. After replacing the slide metals and oil seals with OEM parts, we filled them with fresh fork oil and calibrated the oil level with millimeter precision. Verdict: The dynamic damping response was immediately restored, offering smooth compression and rock-solid cornering stability. Never neglect your fork oil!
